    Experiential learning through production opportunities and master classes, taught by college professors and theatre professionals. Features a series of annual productions, as well as courses in Acting, Stage Movement and Combat, Voice and Speech, Dialects, Playwriting, Production Design and Set Construction, Directing, Singing for the Stage, and Dance for the Stage. Workshops and classes culminate in 2 annual productions.

    Theatre Experience Production Opportunities
    Experiential learning through production with a focus on developing professional performing and technical skills. Students participate in all aspects of production including rehearsal, tech and performance:

    The Wiz: Community actors train in musical theatre styles and performance under the mentorship of  professional actors, director, and choreographer. Rehearsals are designed to develop the necessary skills for continued advancement in the field. This program will feature adult community actors as well as thirty inner city youth- at- risk from the Hillside Family of Agencies

    Twelfth Night: Actors learn the tools to deconstruct and perform classical text. Emphasis will be placed on voice and speech, stage movement, and acting. Under the direction of a professional director and one on one virtual voice coaching, students will learn to embrace Shakespeare’s text.
