Minna Resnick – Works on Paper
My work focuses on the personal and internal debate which occurs when women confront themselves and their role in present day society. It examines the dual nature of a woman's personality: the private and the public. My interest is in the balancing act between the internal feelings and the external expectations that can often lead to contradictory actions and conflicting emotions. In my work, the private and public parts do not mirror one another, but act as diacritical commentaries. |

Mikhail Gubin – A Retrospective
Gubin uses the universal language of art to create a magical language that speaks poetically and wistfully of human experience, or comments on human behavior with fanciful wit and bits of irony. |

William Smith
Influenced by early Flemish painters, Smith’s work blends technical mastery with an ability to create scenes that show clear shape and suggested forms. Based on Smith’s memories of growing up in Central New York and current surroundings in the Schuylkill River Basin of Pennsylvania, the scenes render nature in the abstract. |
