In conjunction with Hillside and the Community Folk Arts Center, Redhouse presents The Music Man. An affectionate salute to Smalltown, U.S.A. of a bygone era, the musical follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band that he vows to organize.

This contemporary musical with an unforgettable score is an emotional powerhouse that addresses such issues as grieving a loss, ethics in modern psychiatry, and suburban life.
