Song Study Audition Techniques with Hunter Foster and Jacob Carll

Redhouse Arts Center’s Artistic Director is offering a virtual Masterclasses in Audition Techniques for singers. The class will focus on bringing together the disciplines of singing and acting in a fully comprehensive course on the musical and dramatic delivery of your chosen song with special emphasis on musical theatre auditions for the camera.

Participants will receive coaching from Hunter Foster (Redhouse’s Artistic Director, award-winning director, and Tony-nominated actor) alongside Jacob Carll (Music Director, Pianist, and Vocal Coach. Currently Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre at SUNY Cortland).

Spaces in each class are limited in an effort to give each student individualized attention and ample feedback.

What to Expect:

• After registration, participants will receive an email from our Director of Education with next steps on how to prepare for class. Students will be asked to select a song of their choice, and an accompaniment track will be sent to you prior to class.
• Prior to the class you will receive a Zoom Link that allows you to attend the online session. If you do not receive a link 3 hours prior to class, check your spam folder.
